My Helavault Experience

Results for yesterday’s Avacyn Restored pre-release.

I had tons of fun! Unlike the last pre-release I managed to get some wins in ^_^. I evened out at the end of the night but I dont really care for points or rank, what made my night was the fact that I got positive reactions to my deck. I don’t see myself as a great deck builder but yesterday I felt good about my building skills. I ran three colors and didnt run into any mana problems all night.

Anyways, these were the rares I pulled from last night:

I managed to play Temporal Mastery for its miracle cost twice in separate matches, it was the top deck in one :)

What won me the most matches was the Conjurer’s closet. I kept blinking with three main cards:

Majoriy of the time I used the closet to reset cards that were already soulbond and in one match used the tokens from the timberland guide to put it onFalkenrath Exterminator which help me clear the board one by one ;)

About to register for the pre-release of Avacyn Restored

So to everyone participating in today or tomorrow’s pre-release I just want to say good luck!

This time around I’m a bit more prepared than my first pre-release of  Dark Ascension.I’ve looked at the cards for the new set closely and noted which cards look great but arent worth the spot in the deck. So, after I’m done with the pre-release Im going to post the spoils and my results. Wish me luck guys!

Getting ready for tomorrow’s pre-release of Avacyn Restored.

I’ve been listening to the Limited Resources podcast for tomorrow’s event and I gotta say its extremely helpful (at least for me). Grading each common and uncommons of the set and explaining why they would be considered great or absolute rubbish to pull.
